      Q: What are FanCraze Auctions?

Auctions are a competitive buying format where users bid against others to buy Pro Collectibles released directly by FanCraze. Each auction features a base price, a fixed bidding window, minimum bid increments, and an auto-extension mechanism to ensure fair play.

Q: Why does FanCraze use Auctions?

Auctions introduce dynamic market discovery and bring fairness and excitement to buying Pro Collectibles:

      • Market-Driven Prices — The community determines the final value.
      • Equal Opportunity — Everyone gets a chance to bid within the auction window.
      • High Engagement — Live bidding and auto-extensions make the experience strategic and competitive.

Q: Where do I find live Auctions?

Go to Market → Auctions. All active auction listings are displayed here, each with its own timer and bidding parameters.

Q: Who lists the collectibles in Auctions?

All auctioned collectibles are listed through a dedicated FanCraze account named @auctions. This ensures transparency and reliability for every auction.

      Q: How do I place a bid?

      • Open Market → Auctions
      • Select a collectible
      • Click Place Bid
      • Enter your amount and confirm
      • Your wallet balance is locked immediately when the bid is placed.

Q: What is the starting price?

Each collectible has a Base Auction Price — the minimum required for the first bid.

Q: How do subsequent bids work?

Each new bid must exceed the current winning bid by at least the Minimum Dollar Increment (e.g., $1, $2, etc.).

Q: What happens if no bids are placed?

The auction expires and no sale occurs.

      Q: What is auto-extension?

If a bid is placed in the final moments of an auction (e.g., last 3 minutes), the auction automatically extends by a set duration. This prevents last-second “sniping” and ensures fair competition.

      Q: What is Max Bid?

Max Bid lets you set the highest amount you are willing to pay. FanCraze will automatically outbid competing bidders for you using the smallest possible increments - until your Max Bid limit is reached.

Q: What if someone bids above my Max Bid?

Automatic bidding stops. To stay in the lead, you must manually increase your Max Bid.

Q: Can I increase my Max Bid later?

Yes, you can raise your Max Bid anytime before the auction ends.

Q: Can I cancel or withdraw my bid?

      • If you are NOT the current highest bidder:
You may withdraw or modify your bid, and the locked funds return instantly to your wallet.

      • If you ARE the current highest bidder:
        You cannot withdraw your bid.

      Q: What is Opt-Out?

Opt-Out lets non-winning bidders withdraw their bids instantly and reclaim their locked funds without waiting for the auction to end. Once you opt out, you cannot bid again on that same collectible.

Q: What happens if I lose the auction?

All blocked funds are automatically refunded the moment the auction ends.

Q: How fast are refunds processed?

Refunds are instant for cancelled or losing bids.

Q: How do I know if I won?

You’ll receive a platform notification. The collectible will be transferred automatically to your club.

Q: When does FanCraze debit my wallet?

Funds are locked when you place your bid. If you lose, the amount is refunded instantly.

Q: Can I pay with Gems, Essence, or other reward currencies?

No. Auctions require wallet cash only.

Q: Can I participate in multiple auctions at once?

Yes, as long as you have enough available wallet balance to cover all active bids.

Q: Why should I use Max Bid?

      Max Bid helps you:

      • Stay competitive even if you’re offline
      • Avoid constant manual rebidding
      • Secure the collectible with minimum incremental bids
      • Prevent emotional overbidding

Q: Any tips for winning auctions?

      • Set a strong Max Bid early
      • Watch the final minutes for auto-extensions
      • Keep sufficient wallet balance to stay competitive
      • Use Opt-Out strategically when shifting to another auction

Q: What happens to losing bids?

Every cent of your locked amount returns instantly once the auction ends.

      Q: Are auctions final?

Yes. Once completed, the highest bidder wins and the collectible is permanently transferred.
